The quality of the bags themselves are awesome, but the way they mount/install is ridiculous, and in my opinion, impossible.
1 On the drivers side, the top bracket is damn near impossible to install due to the wiring harnesses, the mount for the DEF tank and some other lines. 2 On the passenger side, there's no way to tighten one of the bolts that attaches the top of the airbag to the top side bracket. 3 Per the instructions, you have to literally bang off a large welded piece of the bottom mounts with a hammer. The instructions say you may have to use a grinder to cut it off (which I had to do on both lower mounts). 4 The instructions just plain suck, bigtime.

I have installed many air bags on many chevy's and none has ever taken me more then 20-25 min. Not only were the directions very hard to understand, but the design of these air bags for my 2011 F-350 were poorly designed. To many brackets, after installed, they sit at an angle, that can't be good. It took me almosty 3 hours to install and I'm no rookie, ( I've wrenched for 18 yrs ). Don't know how firestone makes their product in comparison to Air lift, but I wouldn't recommend Air Lift.

I just installed these air spings on my new 2012 Ford F250 4x4 crew cab.
I found the instructions to be very good, contrary to some other comments I have read. I can not comment on how other manafacturers install or nor on other vehicles, since this is the only set I have done.
First of all, you need to be mechanically inclined. If not, you should not be messing with your vehicles suspension in the first place. There was nothing about beating of a weld or anything like that.
It took me about 4 hours to install these. If I had to do it again I am sure it would be 1/2 that time or better. I was not in a rush and was throughly reading the instructions. Everything fit fine. The qualtiy of the parts is very good.
So I am very pleased with the product and the installation.
